Extensible Markup Language is the full form of XML. As we all know XML is a scripting language. Extensible Markup Language (XML) was designed to replace Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). This markup language is very easy to use. Extensible Markup Language was defined as a functional subset of Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). Extensible Markup Language is based on Unicode. XML is standardized by W3C. XML doesn’t have predefined tags.
