ChatGPT team for business, powered by OpenAI!

OpenAI has launched “ChatGPT Team,” a new subscription offering aimed at small and medium-sized businesses seeking AI-powered productivity without enterprise-level complexity. This tier bridges the gap between individual users and large corporate plans like ChatGPT Enterprise—giving teams of up to 149 users access to premium features, customization tools, and better data control.

ChatGPT Team subscribers can access GPT-4 with longer context windows and advanced data analysis. They also gain the ability to create internal custom GPTs and securely manage shared prompts and workflows across departments. OpenAI emphasizes that data from Team accounts is not used to train its models—a key differentiator for businesses concerned about intellectual property and data governance.

With pricing starting at $25/month per user (if billed annually), the model targets startups, consultancies, and distributed teams who want flexible access to AI without investing in full enterprise integration. This move marks a strategic expansion of AI into mainstream business tooling—helping companies automate emails, summarize meetings, generate code, and brainstorm creatively.

The launch reflects OpenAI’s attempt to capture the “prosumer” market and solidify ChatGPT’s role as a versatile workplace companion.
