When “Pro” Means Problematic

In an era where AI tools promise precision, speed, and professionalism, Perplexity’s so-called “Pro” plan delivers something else entirely: a mess of hallucinated gibberish masquerading as insight.

Take the image here.. —generated by Perplexity’s AI. It was presumably meant to illustrate digital growth strategies. Instead, it offers a surreal parade of broken language:

  • “Search Dugane” instead of Search Engine
  • “Social Penes”—a deeply inappropriate distortion of Social Media
  • “Antriute Leses” for Affiliate Links
  • “Gill Ira Dreading” in place of Email Marketing

Each label is not just a typo—it’s a complete failure of semantic understanding. Worse, the errors aren’t isolated. This is part of a pattern: multiple images, multiple hallucinations, and zero editorial oversight.

For a platform that markets itself as a professional-grade assistant, this kind of output is unacceptable. Users deserve better than AI-generated nonsense—especially when it’s being sold as a premium feature.

At IT-INDIA.com, we believe in clarity, credibility, and accountability. If AI is to assist editorial workflows, it must meet the standards of human judgment—not undermine them.

🛑 Final Thought

Perplexity’s failures aren’t just technical—they’re ethical. Until they fix their pipeline, users should proceed with caution. And if you’ve encountered similar AI mishaps, share them. The conversation is just beginning.
